Tips

The Water/Air scholar is an excellent class for exploring. By combining the protective and healing powers of Water with the travel and utility powers of Air, the scholar can get almost anywhere and withstand most nasty surprises. Use Group Teleport to take you and your elemental into unknown lands, and be sure to have Invisibility, Fly, Wind Wall, and Sanctuary up. If you land in a hostile area, you can use Heal to fix yourself up, and if you get overwhelmed, just Word of Recall out. When exploring, you'll run into all kinds of unexpected maledictions, but with Cure Blindness, Cure Disease, Cure Poison, and Mend Wounds you're well prepared to counteract them.
