Caladaran
Caladaran are reclusive beings by nature, most willing to spend their lives in study and reading, rather then be bothered with the day to day happenings of the world around them. They are renowned scholars, thinkers and writers, and most have chosen to live a passive life, rather then place themselves in open combat. They are the longest lived race in Avendar, which makes up for their low numbers of population.
The Caladaran appear as tall lanky creatures, their skin rough and bark-like in appearance. Some believe that the Caladaran resemble trees, or nature, as they have spent their lives attuned with knowledge and learning, as many of the ancient trees of Avendar have.
