Syntax: blinding <target>

Binding dust is the assassin's improved form of dirt kicking. Instead of kicking up any old dirt, the assassin throws a special stinging concoction which stays in their opponent's eyes longer. This ability can be used in many more environments than normal dirt kicking, including in air and on water. The malediction last much longer, as well.

On a successful blinding dust attempt, the foe will get one free combat swing against you. This swing can be defended against like any normal attack, plus they will suffer blinded penalties. Failed or dodged blinding dust attempts do not give the opponent a free swing.

When using this skill, first the assassin does a success/fail check based on his skill %. If this fails, it will show a "miss". If it succeeds, the opponent still makes a dexterity check vs the assassin. If the opponent wins this check, he will "dodge" the dust and not be blinded. Therefor, even at 100% this skill is most reliable on low dexterity targets.

Blinding Cloud is the area-of-effect form of this skill.
