Syntax: disarm

Combat-oriented classes can use this skill to knock a weapon from their foe's hands. Two-handed weapons are more difficult to disarm, while certain other weapons such as whips and flails are easier to use to disarm others.

Most weapons will fall to the ground when disarmed, though those that bear the nodrop or inventory flags remain in the character's inventory. Items with the noremove and nodisarm flags cannot be disarmed with this skill.

Disarm can not be used to initiate combat as an opening move. It can only be used when one is already in combat. Also, one can only disarm their current combat target since alternate targets can not be specified.

Most mobs that are disarmed will automatically pick up their weapon and add it to their inventory, so you still have to kill them to get it. However, if you blind the mob before you disarm it, it will not be able to pick up the weapon. This gives classes that can blind and disarm a chance to steal weapons from mobs they can't possibly kill. It is a favorite tactic of gladiators.
