Syntax: Setsnare

This skill sets a trap in the room that is triggered by the next PC or mobile that walks into the room. If successful, the snared target will be unable to leave the room by non-magical means, and suffers a penalty to their dexterity score.

Rangers and their groupmates, as well as all flying characters, will not set off the trap. Mobiles will set off the trap, but are not hindered by it.
