Syntax: cast 'phase door' <target>
Phase door is a variant of the void scholar spell, gate. When supplied with a target, the void templar will immediately transport herself to that target and receive a moderate amount of negative damage. Phase door allows the target of the spell a save to keep from being successfully phased to.
The range of phase door is limited to within the current area, although its targeting is not; thus, general terms, such as "man" or "guard" will rarely be successful. Should the target of this spell be in a sanctified room, or a room flagged as nomagic or nogate, phase door will automatically fail.
Syntax on this spell is important. Like gate, the <target> should not be put in single-quotes or quotation marks as one might with other abilities; the phrase after the spell name is considered the target.
